KIDZ is a family support group that provides opportunities for individual and group support, recreation, advocacy, and education to families who have a child diagnosed with diabetes. We serve families in the tri-cities area of Nebraska, as well as parts of Nebraska and North-Central Kansas not served by a support group.
When your child is diagnosed with diabetes, there can be a lot to learn. Sometimes it can be overwhelming. How can we keep blood glucose levels consistent? How do we test for ketones? Has anyone else experienced this? Are certain foods limited? What is the latest technology?
Sometimes it just helps to talk with someone who understands.

Last year our group had so much fun at the Pumpkin Patch, we decided to do it again! On Sunday, October 4th we'll meet at Helgoth's Pumpkin Patch (just north of GI) from noon-4pm.
